June Newsletter!

🌟 Happy Volunteers' Week! 🌟

We are incredibly proud to be supported by our volunteer team at Community TechAid. From replacing screens to delivering digital skills sessions, they support us at every stage, to ensure we can achieve our mission. Thank you to all of our volunteers for their commitment and contribution to our work, we couldn't do it without you!🙌

"Volunteering has been a great way to socialise and meet interesting people and learn and try new things. The fulfilment it provides also does wonders to one's mental health. CTA especially is all about the beautiful people behind it and the commitment to good deeds. "

- Akhil, Volunteer Software Developer

Phone requests have reopened! ☎️

Thanks to a recent donation we're pleased to have reopened our phone requests. If you or someone you are supporting is in need of smartphone they can be referred via our online form here.

Thanks to support from the Good Things Foundation and Vodafone's everyone:connected programme we're also able to provide a sim card with every phone! If your client needs data, minutes and texts please include this in the form.

Please remember that requests are limited to 3 per referee so that we can help as many people as possible 😊

We want your feedback! 📣

It's vital that we are providing the best possible support we can for our community. Not only does it help improve our service, but it enables us to share the incredible stories about how getting online can impact someone's life. Raising awareness about the importance of digital inclusion is an important part of helping to address the challenges that many face. Being online is an essential part of most people's daily lives, and we want to ensure that as many people as possible have those same opportunities.

If you or your organisation has received support from us in the last 6 months we would love to hear from you. You can either fill in our online form or send us a WhatsApp message or voice note about your experience with Community TechAid. Alternatively give us a call on 020 3488 7742.

If you're from an organisation please share with your clients, or get in touch for paper copies, thank you 🙏
