We are absolutely thrilled to have been awarded funding from Team London Bridge to support the continuation of our Device Quickstart sessions.
These sessions have been hugely impactful and supported people to build their confidence in using their device, engaging with others and improving their mental health and we are delighted that we will be able to continue them in the coming months.
This project will support returning sessions over several weeks where users can practice what they have learnt as well as learn to ask more questions about their needs, in turn improving their confidence.
Access to the digital world increases independence and enables people to pursue their interests, engage with their local community, and feel more included. It allows people to better connect to friends, family and community groups and services, and find new sources of support.
Startup’ support and training will ensure that the digital world is accessible, expanding their opportunities for education and learning, finding work, receiving support, socialising and more, helping to support a thriving local community.
