Device Quickstart Sessions

It's been four months since we first launched our Device Quickstart sessions at Community TechAid, and thanks to funding from the National Lottery and the WCIT we been able to support our recipients with digital skills.

It's also been a learning curve for us, understanding our beneficiaries needs and finding out the best way we can support.

It has become a vital part of our work, and has enabled us to support our recipients with one-to-one coaching and guidance. We are able to host sessions and continue to help those in our community experiencing digital exclusion.

Confidence in using a device has been a major barrier for many of those that we work with, but now we are able to offer skills building guided by the user and give people the skills and confidence they need to start using their new device. We are excited to continue the project and learn more about our communities digital inclusion needs, and are hoping to expand so that we can run these sessions in other community spaces with more people.

To find out more or to book a session, visit our Device Quickstart page.

I would like to have some lessons on how to use my Samsung Galaxy Android Mobile Phone and my Samsung Galaxy tablet and my computer on Zoom because of social anxiety within my Asperger Syndrome and OCD and agoraphobia symptomotoligys
